Private Trekking in Nepal

1) Freedom begins with planning

Our web portal www.bookyourtrail.com is unique. It offers you unimaginable possibilities for the individual design of a trekking tour right from the planning stage. On the one hand, with the online trip planner and the “Live Check” function (with which you can book online immediately!): from the desired trail, the number of people (bookable from one person!) to the daily arrival to the individually desired service, a whole universe of choices opens up to you. On the other hand, you will find many carefully compiled and surprising trekking offers. And to help you make the right decision, the portal has a lot more useful information, such as advice on the ideal trekking equipment or tips on the best time to travel in Nepal.
2) THE Nepal expert will be happy to advise you

If you also want individual advice, you are in good hands with Bookyourtrail. There are probably few people who know Nepal and especially its trails as well as Bookyourtrail CEO and geographer Günter Mussnig. Since 1992, he has already travelled through the Himalayas about twenty times! As an expedition leader to remote Himalayan peaks and as a guide on guided trekking tours – from Nepal’s “Wild West” via Dolpo and Mustang to the eastern Himalayas with their eight-thousand-metre peaks Mount Everest, Makalu and Kangchendzönga. Supported by a competent team in the booking centre, Günter can advise you perfectly during your travel preparations.
3) Enjoy individual freedom and service.

And if something does go wrong, our tried and tested trekking agency is on hand around the clock with an emergency number to offer help and advice. And of course you don’t have to worry about permits, national park entrance fees, domestic flights, overland travel or the hotel in Kathmandu.
4) The longing for something special
Bookyourtrail opens up the whole breathtaking trekking world of Nepal to you. Currently you can choose between six selected routes, mostly off the beaten track. For example, in the Everest region, besides the famous Everest Base Camp Trail, three other beautiful routes await you, ranging from easy (Everest Easy Trail) to scenic (Everest Renjo Pass Trail, which also includes the Gokyo Trek) to quite challenging (Everest High Trail). Away from the much-travelled classics Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Base Camp, our Annapurna Mardi Himal Trail will thrill you with the scenic contrasts of jungle and eternal ice. And you can hike the mystically hidden kingdom of Mustang on a very special trail, the Mustang Heritage Trail.
However, if you have a completely different trekking tour in mind, such as the Manaslu Circuit or the Langtang Trek, that is no problem. Just send us an enquiry with your individual travel wishes.!
5) Sustainable travel – there’s more to come!

We don’t want you to change Nepal, we want Nepal to change you. That is why we place the highest value on truly responsible travel in this magnificent country. The three pillars of sustainability are particularly important to us! Our guides and crews are paid fairly and have the best insurance cover available. Waste avoidance and the purchase of regional products are practised and for fair pricing we have imposed a self-restriction on booking commissions in order to really be able to offer sustainable and individual trekking tours.
But here comes much more: Because we are particularly proud of our joint venture “Fair Trails Himalayas”. Together with ENNOVENT GLOBAL, a renowned agency for development cooperation, we are consistently developing our concept of sustainable travel. For example, the unique Snow Leopard Trail is currently being developed for the protection of the snow leopard. We were able to win the world’s leading wildlife biologists from the Snow Leopard Conservancy as partners. But as I said, there is more to come soon and we will report about it in our blog!
