Profile
The Dobratsch Rundwanderweg is a circular trail in stages that leads around the Dobratsch Nature Park in four daily stages. The circular trail was developed by the Dobratsch Nature Park with the aim of revitalizing the foothills of the nature park for tourism and at the same time actively working to relieve visitor pressure in the nature park itself. Subsequently, the Trail Angels were commissioned by a project consortium consisting of the Villach region and the Dobratsch Nature Park to further develop the existing staged circular trail: In the form of an individual, serviced bookability, additionally with Dynamic Packaging and with the establishment of a Trail Info & Booking Center in the premises of the Trail Angels form headquarters in Obervellach. Thus, the Dobratsch circular hiking trail is a small but fine example of a lived and sustainably managed cooperation between tourist destination management and protected area management.
