Two Trail Angels projects nominated at the WTM in London!

The “World Travel Market” in London is, next to the ITB in Berlin, the largest and most renowned tourism fair in the world and will take place this year from November 4th to 6th, 2019. One of the highlights of this fair is always the presentation of the “International Travel and Tourism Awards”, which the organizers describe as the “highest award in tourism”. This year, two Kärnten Werbung projects have been nominated for which the Trail Angels are responsible. You could count on one, the other is – especially for us Trail Angels – quite surprising.
Category “Best of Adventure”: Alpe-Adria-Trail

If you can count on such a high award, then with the Alpe-Adria-Trail. This long-distance hiking trail has already won several international awards and has established itself as one of the top European long-distance hiking trails within just a few years. The Trail Angels are the licensed and official booking center for the Alpe-Adria-Trail and are responsible for product development and booking management. Category “Best of Luxury”: Alpe-Adria-Golf

Admittedly, Trail Angels are not so closely associated with golf trips. But the nomination is nice proof of how efficient our trail information, booking and management system www.bookyourtrail.com is in the meantime, in order to also be able to process serviced golf trips with it.
The managing director of Kärnten Werbung will represent the two projects in London and we are keeping our fingers crossed that the nomination might turn into an award. Click here for the Shortlist of nominations.
